[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide electric school bus technical assistance services to optimize cost savings and environmental benefits of electric school bus deployments by school districts and school bus fleet contractors, and to provide fleet managers and schools the support they need to integrate electric school buses into their operations. It is anticipated that the technical assistance program will initially be available to four districts and contractors that have or are currently procuring electric school buses, with the potential to expand the services to an additional five districts to the government authority located in Helena, MT.
1: Electric School Bus Operations and Maintenance Planning and Implementation Support
A. Evaluate the fulltime deployment of electric buses on a variety of route conditions and settings;
B. Assist with determining training program options and training costs for all appropriate personnel;
C. Develop a plan to ensure timely and efficient resolution of service and maintenance issues, and
D. Provide outreach and education to district or fleet contractor personnel as necessary to optimize the operation and maintenance of electric bus(es) and charging technology
2: Electric Bus Charging Equipment Planning and Implementation Support
A. Determine charging technology and strategies necessary for the electric bus owner to maximize route cost savings. For example, appropriately sizing charging equipment, managing charging to mitigate demand charge costs, training operators with effective use of charging equipment, and equipment maintenance requirements or needs;
B. Facilitate communication between electric bus owners, bus manufacturers, charging station vendors, utilities, and other stakeholders in selecting and implementing appropriate charging technologies and strategies.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
